Punica granatum

Botanical Name: Punica granatum 1) Deciduous shrub or small tree. 2) Needle-like branches and leaves which shaped obovate or elliptic, it’s in flower from May to June with the color of mostly red, yellow and white. fruits rippen from September to October which appears spherical. 3) It likes light, humid climate and fertile calcareous soil. 4) Functions: fruit can be used for food purpose and the juice can be made into wine. The peel and root bark can be used as medical purpose for diarrhea, insecticidal effect, and for black dye materials etc.
